Ene share wel benaderbaar op mediaspeler, andere niet

Ik heb mijn OpenSuSe-systeem (11.4) overgezet naar een nieuwe box.
Zoals te doen gebruikelijk toch weer wat netwerkprobleempjes.

De MEYEO-share is gewoon te benaderen op mijn mediaspeler in het netwerk.
De Video-share is wel zichtbaar, maar de mediaspeler zegt dat er geem content is.

Ik doe uiteraard iets fout, maar wat?
Oh ja, de MEYEO-share staat op een ext4-partitie, de Videoshare is een ext3-partitie.

Elke hulp wordt bijzonder gewaardeerd.

Er bestaat werkelijk een share /video ? Die map staat dus op de root? Heb je ook gedacht aan hoofd- en kleine letters? Voor windoe systemen maakt dat niet uit, voor linux (gelukkig) wel

ext4 of ext3 mag geen verschil maken. Wat zijn de permissies van /video, wie mogen er in kijken?


ls -ld /video && ls /video

Bij mij staan alle data-bevattende partities in fstab zonder “acl,user_xattr”. maar met “defaults”. Kan alleen wat meedenken, heb zelf geen windows om dit mee te testen.
