Encore ENLWI-G2 and oprnSUSE 11

Hi:
I have an Encore ENLWI-G2 wireless PCI adapter and I don’t seem to be able to get to work. I tried manually to connect, see below:

lspci gives me this output:

I would appreciate any help.

You have the RTL8185 wireless card, which uses the rtl8180 driver.

From the picture you posted, the interface is seeing nearby APs, but
it looks as if you are using ifup to configure it. It is much easier
with NetworkManager.

Switch your control to NM with YaST, then use the KNM applet to add a
new connection. Enter your data in the screens and it should connect.

I have tried with NetworkManager but it always comes back with this:

The password is correct as I am able to connect with other computers that run OS X and Windows(both XP and Vista). The signal strength is also very erratic. What gives?
Any ideas?

This did fix my connection problem:

Failure of WPA2 Personal with openSUSE 11.1 - openSUSE Forums

Now if some one can help me with my erratic signal strength. It varies tremendously and the bars seem to go waaay down the moment I connect to either of my wireless points. Any suggestions?

Does it work? If so, ignore the bars. NetworkManager does not always
read the signal correctly.

Yes it works. Thanks.
