Enabling content plugins in Minefield (e.g. Firefox nightly)

If you are using Firefox nightly builds for testing, checking out etc. you might have wonder why you can’t find your plugins in Minefield. It is because it looks for plugins in “plugins” folder where you extracted it which is not exist by default. To be able to use your plugins, type this command and restart Minefield if it is open.

ln -sv /usr/lib/browser-plugins /path/to/minefield/plugins

Change path according to where you extracted your minefield
