Enable Spyder2

Has anyone been able to get a spyder2 working?
I have installed Argyll CMS and dispcal but I am unable to enable the spyder2.
I have located the “CVSpyder.dll” from a Windows install.
All I get is a message saying “Spyder 2 could not be enabled. Please install the Spyder 2 software manually if it hasn’t been installed yet, then run this command again”

My system is running
Opensuse 11.4 64 bit & KDE 4.6

Thanks

Hello.

I have a problem with Spyder3 calibrator. When I connect it to USB and look at the output of dmesg, I see that the calibrator is connected then immediately disconnected then connected again then again disconnected…
All other USB devices work properly. I have openSUSE 11.4. This calibrator connects well with openSUSE 11.4 Live KDE.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Hi sergeyopensuse,

I have the same problem on OpenSUSE 11.4 on 11.3 spyder3 works fine.

Do you found a work around?

Here is the workaround (for me):

sudo mv /lib/udev/mtp-probe /lib/udev/mtp-probe_save

do your calibation

sudo mv /lib/udev/mtp-probe_save /lib/udev/mtp-probe
