Enable automatic screen rotation on Plasma

Hi All,

I’ve got an HP Envy x360 flipbook, and I would like to be able to automatically rotate the screen once I flip it into tablet mode.

In GNOME there is an interesting project: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/hadess/iio-sensor-proxy/ that uses the computer sensor to flip the screen and deactivate the keyboard.
I haven’t been able to find an equivalent tool for Plasma 5 though, has anyone got any suggestions?

Many thanks in advance

As a first step upgrade to Leap 15.4 or TW.

Upgrade done, I can now see the option to rotate the screen from the screen conf.
What’s the next step? AFAIK sensor-proxi would only work with GNOME, any suggestion on where I should look for a plasma equivalent?

Possibly you’ll need Wayland.

Thanks, I will look into these.
I will report here if I can manage to make them work
