Empty trash keeps displaying maximum size notice

This could have been an issue before updating to 3.4.4-1 but I noticed every time I try to delete an item I get the message “The trash has reached its maximum size! Cleanup the trash manually”. I thought I fixed it by deleting my Trash folder in .local and on reboot it works but after each reboot I always have to delete my .Trash folder and restart for it to work again.

I believe its fixed finally. Instead of deleting the whole folder i tried just deleting the metadata file which contained incorrect information and after a few reboots its working.

Yes I know this post should have been in Applications >.>.
