Emacs menus in 11.2 are partially broken

Anyone else experiencing problems? For example, start emacs on a file, then pull in a couple of additional files via ctrl-x/ctrl-f then click on the buffers menu item and all you see is the initial file you started with along with Scratch and Messages. This should show all buffers. Sure I can list the buffers or use ctrl-X/ctrl-b but this is a step backwards for sure.

Hi,

I use Emacs all the time, but only use the key commands, as I often use it in the terminal rather than the x window.

I normally switch buffers with C-x[LEFT] and C-x[RIGHT].

I’ll test it out when I’m at home and let you know, I only have openSUSE 11.1 on this laptop.

Barry.

fwiw, it worked fine until I upgraded from 11.1 to 11.2,

Hi,

I think that’s because this is a bug of Emacs version 23; openSUSE 11.1 used Emacs version 22.
