EFI and /sbin/elilo not found

Hi Anybody!

:\ I try to install OpenSuse 11.4 onto notebook AMD 64bit wich require EFI support from OS. According the installer warnings only the elilo support this kind of boot. The elilo is selected by installer defaultly.
:frowning: The all installtion work fine, but at end stop with error “sh: /sbin/elilo not found”.
The package contain elilo is selected to install.
The problem is same if I try with empty or full filled partition table.

 Any idea to solve this problem?

:open_mouth: So more information.
The installer select the elilo as bootloader but the elilo package not in the installatation DVD. This can be added at next boot but the system cannot complete the installation without elilo package. At install no chance to add new package source therefore no cahcne to append elilo package…

Perhaps it would work if you install using the network CD.

"Perhaps it would work if you install using the network CD. "
Looks like not needed. If I boot from installer DVD and specify add on product url to Index of /distribution/11.4/repo/oss then can be pick-up packages from.
But still need to add elilo and efibootmgr package manually at first install!

Remark: After (and before) the installation at A6-3400 platform I have trouble with kerenel?. They hang many times for example at starting udev. I do not recognize this problem with 11.3, 11.1 and 10.3 distribution…
