Editing remote-files via Dolphin

Hello!

In Dolphin i have build an ssh-Connection to my homeserver.

Now when I edit an file, the save to the remote location occures only when the editor is closing.

This is for webdevelopment etc. not practical.

Which alternatives are possible?
(under Windows i love WinSCP :()

Thanks for your help
Stefan

which editor are you using? kate, which i use, supports fish:// protocol.
you can open all the files you need & save them as a “session,” so they’re
available again w/o fuss. in my experience, kate saves immediately to
remote when used in this way.

phani.

Now I’ve installed kate and it works like a charme. Thank you!

BTW: In Quanta+ the ssh-support seems to be broken?
Will it be no longer maintaned?
