Is there a browser for Linux that supports dynamic HTML enabled websites?
What do you really mean by dynamic HTML? It can mean lots of things.
If the website is using something like PHP to generate the HTML, and there is no static file containing the content, that’s dynamic HTML, and as far as your browser is concerned it’s no different.
If you mean the webpages contain some Javascript and some things run in your browser, or you have fancy AJAX stuff happening, that too is supported by modern browsers.
I attend Kaplan University online and I cannot access the classroom do to my browser (opera) not supporting DHTML thats all i know. They suggest IE7 or Firefox but i cannot seem to get FF to install in opensuse 11.1
Really strange that you can’t get firefox to install.
What method are you using?

well I really dont know I am vary new to linux I downloaded firefox-3.0.5.tar.bz2 from Firefox website and extracted the files after that i am lost if there is anyone who can help Please do so. My schooling is the only thing keeping me still using Windows.
You don’t need to fetch Firefox separately, it should have been installed as part of the normal OpenSUSE install. If not, you can install it from YaST > Software > Software Management > Search
Does the site claim to support Linux? Sometimes they say Firefox will do, but it’s a lie, because it actually turns out they need some Windows features so it has to be Firefox on Windows. I have come across a bank like that.
Thank you so much now I can get into my classes and quit using windows untill i start writing code in my VB and C++ C# classes
