I would like to submit a bug report but before doing so would like to know if DVDstyler from Packman works on anyone else’s Leap 42.1 system.

The issue is that the app crashes in generating the menu.

Load DVDStyler from a terminal and see what additional info you get. If you need further help from there copy and post the details in code tags.

Thank you for the reply albeit not quite what I expected as a response.

Do I take it you have DVDStyler 2.9.5-2.35-x86_64 installed on a Leap 42.1 system which is fault free and working? Did you get it from the Packman repository? The reason for not posting all the detail is that I’m of the view the build is broken and attempting to discuss the detail of a faulty build will not come to much in a forum.

If 'dvdstyler' is not a typo you can use command-not-found to lookup the package that contains it, like this:
    cnf dvdstyler
