Well, I’m back home. I’m right now playing “U571” on a comercial dvd,
with xine. Look:
cer@Telcontar:~> mount | grep -i "cdr\|sr0\|dvd"
cer@Telcontar:~>
QED - you don’t need to mount a DVD to play it.
