DVD Multi-drive not recognised inTumbleweed

I am unable to burn to a DVD using my DVD multi-drive. I was attempting to burn Win11 to a DVD, which I have done several times before in Leap 15.6. When inserting a DVDW disc, the drive spends a long time trying to do something (lots of whirring and clunking) then asks me to insert a disc, I have tried several different New discs!

I have performed the following to find out what and where the drive is and the location.
"> ls scsi

ls: cannot access ‘scsi’: No such file or directory

# ls dvdrw
ls: cannot access ‘dvdrw’: No such file or directory

  • ls /dev**

cdrom mqueue tty12 tty45 ttyS2 vcsa1

cdrecord dev=/dev/sr1 -checkdrive
