dvd movie playing

hi

i use opensuse 11.1

kaffeine is installed… but when i insert a dvd movie… kde propose me to open it with dolphin… why kaffeine is not proposed?

Is it just the popup that is the problem? Will the DVD play in Kaffeine at all?

ya sure…

maybe the notification work only for kde 4 application… kaffeine included with opensuse 11.1 is for kde 3.x

Yeah. You just have to open kaffeine and select open disc. kde3 pop-up would give you the option, open with kaffeine. But not so in kde4.

As has been mentioned you are using a kde3 app in kde4, and whilst there is a kde4 version available, it is not from Packman yet.
