I have attempted to download the DVD iso several times now via http, ftp and torrent with each attempted iso file failing the md5 sum check. Is there some way that I can just repair the iso image that I have already downloaded to get it to work?
Thanks
It is possible that you have corrupt RAM or hard drive controllers.
Run memtest for one night.
Run badblocks over the hard drive(s).
Most torrent apps provide that option.
Yes, I understand most torrent apps provide that, but unfortunately all the torrent apps that I have tried say 100% and tell me the download is good.
As for memtest and badblocks, I’ll give that a shot and see what comes of it.
