DVB-t usb config problem

Hi There

I am trying now for a few days to get my MobiDTV Trio (V-gear) running. All the obvious approaches found on net I applied (maybe not correctly). My usbdvbstick has the same hardware as the MSI DIGIVOX mini II V3.0. !!! and same housing !!!

Well I am running 11.2 kde 4.4.1 on Asus laptop Core Duo T7300.

I loaded everything required according to v4l website.

Non of the following mediapps scan or are able to scan :Kaffeine, Me tv , tvtime

What strangely is missing !!! is /dev/dvb it is just not created.
When I create /dev/dvb/… manually and run “scan” …incorrect ioctl… comes up as error msg

Please have a look at dmesg output:

Hi,
got nearly the same problem with an USB video grabber, named GrabBeeX.
However yet not resolved and struggeling as well.

In your listing I see, that it is bound to /dev/vbi0.
Try the v4l tools like
>‘v4lctl snap jpeg ./test.jpg’.
>‘v4l-config’

Does >‘xawtv -hwscan’ recognizes the card and gives timeout at least?

using >‘ttv’ the message v4l2: oops:select timeout appears, at your site too?

What’s about >‘streamer -d’
The debug mode tells
vid-open: trying v4l2
v4l2: open
v4l2: devive info:…
vid: open: ok: v4l2

v4l2: oops:select timeout.

In fact, if the machine is unpluges, the messages are telling that the device is realy not found. Plugged in, the hardware type is registered, but I got the same problem: no image is streamed…

Any help will be appreciate.
Thanks and Greetings
