DVB-T and pay-tv

Hi there,
I want to buy a USB DTT receiver for my laptop, an ASUS G71V which has not, unlike other models, embedded DVB-T support.
I just want a list of openSUSE-compatible models. I don’t know if drivers are universal or not. I saw a very cheap model on eBay ( decoder usb digitale terrestre ricevitore tv usb dvb su eBay.it Digitale Terrestre, DTT, Decoder, Satellitare e DTT, Audio, TV, Elettronica ) but the seller told me it “doesn’t work with Linux”. Is he right? :frowning:

Second question: is there a way to watch pay-tv DTT channels on a computer? What are the tools needed? CAM module and appropriate software? My question includes Windows, because I have Vista in dual-boot and I could watch pay channels with it if there is no way under Linux. I don’t want to buy a TV decoder also to have the comfort of being able to see DTV anywhere I bring my notebook.

Thank you in advance.
