That will depend on the capabilities of your printer. Postscript ones are
better for handling this kind of jobs.
What are the exact printer models?
On the software side, you can use Acrobat, which allows more complex
combinations and layouts.
What file type are you trying to print (.pdf, .odt…) and which software
are you using?

hp has it so it pusses on half way throw printing (mac and mswin) and lets you put the paper back down!
