Dummy Network for XEN & NAT Laptop with Wireless

Hi,

I have an issue on my laptop and wonder if someone can help. I need to install a dummy network for XEN and then NAT this to work with my wireless. On 10.3 and SLED10 this is possible, but under OpenSUSE 11.2 I keep getting this network is controlled by Network Manager. It seems to just ignore the NM_CONTROLLED and USERCONTROL settings in the ifcfg-dummy0 file completely.

Can anyone help me get this working. If I disable network manager the dummy network works fine, but this really isn’t very good on a laptop.

I’m not sure but I think it’s impossible with NetworkManager. Anyway switching between NetworkManager and ifup is really easy.
