Yast2 becomes weird and very very slow since a few days.
Downloading updates takes much time like worse than a 56k modem. Moreover updates are not seen as installed!!!
No one else has already seen this?

Yast uses a standard internet connection for software updates, so it should match the speed of non-yast internet downloads. Have you noticed other internet downloads being slower also?
You should also run some other checks such as iotop, top, vmstat, and others to see if some other reason is the culprit.
Run “free” to see how much free memory you have as well as to see if you are thrashing to disk a lot
