I have a laptop.
and another monitor.
i dual boot with vista.
dual monitoring works great in vista, but in suse, it does nothing but give me a cloned screen, even when i tell it to recognize as one giant screen…
any help?
I recently just installed Suse and have a dual monitor setup aswell. I had the same issue. follow instructions on this page: ATI - openSUSE
The easy way worked for me, however the response is kind of sluggish when moving windows from one monitor to the other, so I am currently experimenting with the hard way. Linux newbie so that’s all the help I can offer I’m afraid.
so did you just install the .ymp file and then reset up the setup?
