Dual monitors & opening programs

Novice…
I have dual monitors setup on Leap 15.6.
Why do some programs open only on the non-primary screen?
I can drag them back to the primary but would prefer they open on the primary.
Suggestion to resolve this minor issue appreciated.
Thanks.
Jim

Hi
I solved it like this.
Open system settings and search for “kwin scripts”. Install the “Always Open on Primary Screen” script and log back in.

daltcorda,

Thanks for the input, but isn’t working for me.
This is not mission critical, just annoying.
Still looking for suggestions.

Resolved !

Opened app and moved it to the primary desktop
Right click title bar
More Actions
Configure Special Applications and Settings
Detect Windows Properties and click crosshairs on app
Go to Size & Position
Position
Remember
Apply

Note: I used the help button and followed
Examples and Application Workaround
then used examples as a guide
It wasn’t the same as I was seeing but got me through it.

Thanks for the help
