Dual Monitor Problems 10.3-64 NVidia GeForce Go 7600

I am running 64 bit OpenSuse 10.3 on an HP TouchSmart PC IQ771.uk.

The video card is a GeForce Go 7600 Display Adapter (according to Windows). Dual monitor capability works fine under windows.

I have the HP internal touchscreen and an AG-Neovo F-419 monitor attached.

I have installed the NVidia driver and this works fine.

If I configure this as a single monitor then it works fine on the HP monitor. However no signal goes to the AG-N monitor.

If I configure this as in Dual Head Mode then the HP monitor switches off and the AG-N monitor works fine.

I can’t find anyway to get both monitors working when logged in. However both monitors work fine when booting up and shutting down.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,
Did you ever get this to work?
I am trying to set this up for an urgent client presentation with no sucess.
Any help of pointers will be much appreciated.

My problem is exactly the same with geforce go 7600 but i get some display in the additional monitor but it either is tiled or just color lines.

/Did u use nvidia, nv, nview?

Thanks
