Hi,
I have two monitors on my system but the same files appear on both (even though I can change the background on each independently). The system is running the latest version of KDE Plasma 5.
Is it possible to have my second screen act as an extension of the first or perhaps better, since I know Linux supports multiple virtual desktops, act as a separate desktop altogether.
Is that possible?
Thx
Keke
Which desktop? What video card? If KDE then it can be adjusted in Configure desktop
Hi,
It’s an Asus card I believe, a Radeon HD 3690. It has two DVI-D ports which I have attached to two 24" Samsung monitors.
With respect to KDE, the only thing I can find is the “Location” settings but I am new to linux (this time at any rate) and I’m not sure how this setting will benefit me.
Thx
Keke
No, start “Configure Desktop” from the application menu, or run systemsettings5 manually.
You should find “Display and Monitor” settings in there, where you can configure your monitor setup.
