I was running 11.2. I had some issues with not being able to delete files from my home directory… Long story short I figured something was mucked up and I was looking for a reason to try out 11.3 anyways 
After installing 11.3 (Fresh install) Im now having problems with my desktops. I have a ATI HD 4550 card currently, and with 11.2 I used the ATI driver. Me and google have determined that it doesnt support 11.3 yet (Differnt way of doing x or something like that… if im wrong please let me know… the ati driver works great)
SO anyways heres the real issue… the included defualt driver seems to work ok esp with the desktop effects being loaded right away (Im impressed) but it doesnt like the fact that I want two displays with different output. I can set it, it kinda works… part of the darn little icon is appearing in the corners of my monitor and the task bar at the bottom has a corner of it appearing at the top of the monitor also.
Alright… I suppose I can live with this for the time being until the final release or ati comes up with a new driver…
But it resets to defualt EVERYTIME I LOG IN… It also recopies my “default address book” (whatever thats suppoused to mean… I dont use the addy book) And it complains about my audio hardware, in particular the video cards hdmi port even when I select dont ask me about this again.
Suggestions?
