Hello,
I have a Lenovo T480 which uses a dual battery setup.
Just Today I realized that on OpenSUSE the internal battery has been drained before the external which kind of completely defeat the battery hot-swapping capability. This is not an issue on the W10 side, and this is also the first time I’m experience this on this laptop even on linux side.
I did read through :https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/477822-2-Batteries-How-do-I-control-which-one-drains-first-(one-is-a-backup)/page2 and a couple of things online but for me nothing crashes due to critically low battery.
I just want to make sure that the external battery gets drained before internal. Is this something we can control from the OS level?
Thanks.
