DSL Connection, HOW TO?

Ok. I’m connected on windows, but I can’t connect on Suse 11.2 to internet with this modem/router. Windows - USB (Ethernet won’t work, but thats windows fault),
Suse 11.2 - I’d like to go with Ethernet, it worked well on Suse 10.2.

Now,

  1. In network device in Yast, DSL, I run through eth0 configuration, entering provider name(typed anything), username and password. It created eth0.

But I can’t see where to connect to internet. Something like KInternet that was earlier?

  1. I can’t find KNetworkmanager. So I typed it in terminal. Some error appeared. If I right-click in toolbar on Knetwork it opens empty option which is something like “not enabled”.

Can you tell me what is the right process for -simple- dsl connection( bridge mode ) anyway?

On /sbin/lspci -nnk it says:

ETHERNET CONTROLLER[0200]: nVidia Corporation nForce2 ethernet controller [10de:0066]

subsystem: nVidia Corporation nForce MCP-T Networking adapter [10de:0c11]

Kernel driver in use: forcedeth

Something like that, I typed by hand…

I had success with KInternet which I have installed.
I don’t know about that KNetworkManager…
