Druck Probleme: Ausdruck nach oben verschoben

Hallo,

Mein System:
Linux linux-ucu1 2.6.31.12-0.2-default #1 SMP 2010-03-16 21:25:39 +0100 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Trotzdem is es vielleicht nützlich mal in LINUX • Foren-Übersicht herumzuschauen.

Viel spaß,

Post 7 gives the solution.

If your English isn’t too good, you can use translate.google.com

Oh, I must have been so confused yesterday after trying hours to solve my problem that I accidentally posted here in German.

Sorry for that and thanks for the hints.

Fred,
Not a problem (my German is limited to technical reading). Some of the guys get a bit upset when people post in other languages here, but my thoughts are that if you can help someone you help him and to heck with the rest.
Hope the link solves your problem.

Having checked and thought about your problem, yast print used to give an option to shift the print up or down in the setup. For a Samsung printer it appeared under ‘altitude’. Don’t know what the German menu would be.

Have you found a solution for your problem?

I have the same under 11,0 maybe there was an cups /printer-stuff-related update. Its an brother dcp-150c, and it appeard around march/april.

If I remove the printer from

  1. turn off
  2. cups
  3. yast

and install it new in yast it works but then the same like before.

Daniel

No, unfortunately not.

Test Pages are printed ok on my brother MFC-7820N. But pdf documents for example are shifted up and to the left.

If you look in other forums, most people talk about page size setting issues. For example in cups it might be set to letter. For my system this was not the issue. Still hoping to find a solution.
