I need to know if drivers for SUSE are compatible with OpenSUSE ?
Indeed, I want to install OpenSUSE on a RAID 1 system. I found some RAID controllers cards and their drivers are compatible with SUSE.

there’s no general answer to this question. It depends on the kernel versions, in most cases.

But is there a difference between the SUSE’s kernel and OpenSUSE’s one currently ?
I think I buy an Adaptec card, compatible with “Linux SUSE”.
I try to obtain answers from Adaptec Support.

Every kernel is different, I was rather thinking of the kernel version.
The best answer is probably finding out if anyone got the hardware you intend to buy to work.
