At the moment I’m using openSuSE 11.0 x86-64bit with no problems.
(my standard linux distro)
But I like to test other distributions and there something strange(for me 
)happens. All other distros are stopping during the first booting before the install-prg runs. (experienced by ubuntu, mandrake, fedora…all the latest version) It seems to me to be a driver problem, but I’ve never got an error message to see what is the problem.
I am using following hardware:
abit ix38 quadgt as motherboard
intel core 2 quad q9300 as CPU
ATI Radeon HD 3870
Samsung HD753LJ as HDD
What’s the difference between suse and the other distros? What kind of problem could it be?
