I recently bought a webcam : Night Flick Camera IT-309WC.
i set it up on my windows partition without problem. the cd driver shipped with my webcam contains only driver for windows platform.
I want to be able to use the webcam on my opensuse 11.1 partition.
what driver should i install for this webcam brand? I searched the web for a linux driver for this type of webcam (Night Flick Camera IT-309WC) but couldn’t find one.
any help is much appreciated.
unfortunately i didn’t found the model of my webcam in the lists of the links you specified above.
I believe the manufacturer of my webcam currently doesn’t provide a linux driver for this camera. unless there is someone who volunteered to write a linux driver for it. does any one knows if the camera model -Night Flick Camera IT-309WC- from “intex” has a linux driver available somewhere?
thank you.

I generally use Yast2 to install software in my opensuse 11.1 box. when i searched Yast packages for “uvc divers” it returns nothing. where can i get the uvc drivers for opensuse? are they installed by default in opensuse 11.1?
thanks.
