Hi folks.
Do not manage to get Drivers for Matrox G450PCI installed correcty.
Install-Scripts fails in detecting correct Version of X.
Manually fixed paths: selected 7.0.0 xserver and changed installation paths.
Resulting driver does not come up. (who wonders)
Has anyone some usefull advice?
Need the driver for higher resolution and dual head.

I’m not sure, but I think, matrox is a developer, which uses his own drivers, correct?
That means you can not use, for example, the nvidia or ati driver.
In my oppinion it is necessary for you to use the “vesa” driver, which is delivered with openSUSE.
Here you can run YAST and select your resolution and even two desktops in “harware” / “grahiccard and monitor”.
