Hi everyone…
My wireless doest work…
After the command “lspci” this came out:
08:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4322 802.11a/b/g/n WirelessLAN Controller (rev 01)
I found a driver here:
Broadcom Corporation - Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA driver
2.
After downloading the driver i read the readme-file…
- Download (hybrid-portsrc-x86_32-v5_10_79_10.tar.gz) to: /home/Caleb_IX/Documents …done
- Readme: http://www.broadcom.com/docs/linux_sta/README.txt
Following the introduction:
- login as root
- “mkdir hybrid_wl” …done
- “cd hybrid_wl” …done
- here is my problem: the comand “tar -xzf <path>/hybrid-portsrc.tar.gz” what path i have to tip in?? And what then to get the BMC 4322 to work on openSUSE 11.1??
Oh yes! I have it! Forget the f… driver that i have posted…
It exists a packman-repo! 1-click installation and it works!
