Drag tab in firefox stopped working

I’m used to order tabs in FF dragging them or move it to another window … this has stopped working, I think after the last update (but not sure). Firefox 126.0
I can’t find any configuration to restore it.
Is there any way to do it?

This is on Leap 15.5.

boven:~ # zypper se -si firefox

Thus no Firefox 126.0. You either mistyped or you have your Firefox from somewhere else, which you then forgot to mention.

I can move tabs within a Firefox window.

126.0 comes from the Mozilla repo:

pluto:~ # zypper se -si firefox

I’ve got it here and dragging tabs still works fine. There must be some specialty with your system.

You may want to check in about:config:
It should be:
browser.tabs.allowTabDetach = true
Or there’s a very simple “solution” here (OS not mentioned):

yes, it is mozilla repo
And I had the allowTabDetach set to true bit the solution you posted worked.

Glad it worked!
