hey all. I’m having a problem with downloading just about anything when it comes to desktop config with KDE. When I try to download a theme, wallpaper, icons, anything, from the ‘Get new (Themes)’ button it will install, but won’t show up on the list of available options. Any idea on how to fix it? I know I can just download it from a site and stick it in the correct folder, but I am trying to fix the actual problem of downloads not doing that automatically. Any help would be appreciated!
by chance are you tiring to do that as root
if so use your normal user
Never log into a GUI as root!
