Downloaded google chrome from google and installed it.

After installing google chrome I get this message when trying to check for updates for my system

Do I just need to add something to the repository?

Normally when you install Chrome from a Google package, it automatically adds a repository to the list. I would assume it also adds the required key as I don’t recall having to add the key manually.

Perhaps the easiest fix is to reinstall from Google Chrome - Get a fast new browser. For PC, Mac, and Linux. That way you also get any updates. They go through versions very quickly, I think beta is up to 14 now.
