Download Problem

I am in Thailand at an apartment complex and have tried to download 12.1 from several mirrors and all of them stop around 325 - 350 MB. The internet connection isn’t the best and I think the wireless routers just kind of hiccup. Is there any type of download manager that will just continue the download where it was interrupted?

then it must be in your ISP, apartment’s network or your machine
itself…so, use a torrent to finish it up…that is, you don’t need to
begin again…just begin with it about half done, and let the torrent
finish it…

you will probably find other useful help here:

openSUSE®, the “German Engineered Automobiles” of operating systems!

You can use wget to download it

I second this. With wget you can allways restart where the transfer was stopped. See
codeman wget

Also using the Torrent method would get you the whole file, even if it would cost a few days, but it also restarts where it was over reboots, etc. (I use Ktorrent).
