I recently downloaded the latest version of tumbleweed and i tried to install it but it got all the way to 96% then stopped (bootable config (or something like that)) i tried to see if there was something wrong with the files and “This is not a opensuse tumbleweed medium” i dont understand why because i literally just installed it today.
Can someone help me, i need this OS very quicly because i am currently without a computer and i go to college. (writing on phone)
Thanks
That’s a bit vague, especially the “or something like that” part.
However, it does not sound like a download error. It sounds like a failure to install the bootloader. I ran into that in my most recent install to an external drive, though I don’t know if it affects all installs to external drives.

I have no idea what you did there. So it’s difficult to comment.
I downloaded the 86x 64, i re-installed it but it keeps stopping at 96%, i do have ubuntu so i tried to upgrade but that does not seem to work either.
Since you need a working OS in a hurry, maybe you should consider a live distro on a USB stick - just to tide you over until you can a permanent install sorted.
Possible bad download did you check the checksums?
