Download all packages first then install ,how to do it?

You can’t easily download ALL packages.
openSUSE-11.2 kde4 cd.
If i do zypper in <packagename> , it will download all dependencies first then install it, is it possible to do it?
you’ll need to edit a file as root.
The file is /etc/zypp/zypp.conf
You’re looking for line 219 or thereabouts, you’ll see:
#commit.downloadMode =
Remove the ‘#’ to uncomment that line, then add the appropriate word to the end as desired.
The particular mode you’re looking for is “DownloadInAdvance”, so the line should look like:
commit.downloadMode = DownloadInAdvance
Remember that you need to be very careful of CASE (uppercase / lowercase) when typing things like this.

The problem is that you need to know the order in which the installer manages the installation, detects the hardware etc. and customises the installation; if you want a custom distribution try openSUSE Studio SUSE Studio - openSUSE
