Hi, I am trying to run DOSEmu on my opensuse 11.1 machine, and everytime I do, I get this output…
ERROR: Unknown CPU type!

I have an AMD Phenom II Black Edition X4 CPU @ 3.2 GHz. Any suggestions on a remedy for this problem?
Was this installed from an openSUSE package?
Just tried this on my x86_64 system. Works fine:
$ dosemu
Creating symbolic link for /home/me/.dosemu/drive_c as /home/me/.dosemu/drives/c
Creating symbolic link for /usr/share/dosemu/drive_z as /home/me/.dosemu/drives/d
blah blah
Humph, that’s odd. I don’t know why it’s giving me the problem. Did you run it from console or a terminal window? Yes, I installed it from the suse package repo.
From a ssh session actually. Works fine from a terminal session too, it even opens a special terminal window.
You’re not trying to run it inside a Linux OS running inside a virtual machine are you?
Negative. Just a straight x86_64 build on the machine in my sig.
