I’m experimenting with Xen. Partially I get along quite well but there is one issue that bugs me. I had numerous attempts with opensuse11.3 as domU guest os in a fully virtualized mode. The initial install goes through well and the system works. After doing an online update and rebooting the guest os, it no longer boots. The same has happened to me with opensuse11.1 as guest. The host runs opensuse11.2 x86_64. I have tried the guest with both 64 and 32 bit. I assume it has something to do with kernel updates. Maybe I’m missing some major point. Strangely searching in google did not yield any results about this issue either occurring elsewhere. Any info or pointer towards relevant info would be greatly appreciated.
