Dolphin stalling when moving large files

Running KDE Desktop and Dolphin I have been using split screen facility to move files from a local directory to a NFS4 mounted directory from another machine on my home network.

Moving audio .m4a files of about 100 MiB move as required, albeit rather slowly, but large Video files from 2-3GiB or greater stall and freeze dolphin to the extent that I have to re-boot.

Is there likely to be a solution or should I look for a different file manager?

The workaround for me, though it’s not a real workaround since it’s my go-to tool, is the trusty command line.
