Dolphin open with menu issue

My Leap 15.5 system running KDE has an issue with loads of irrelevant items in the Dolphin file open with menu. Now a while ago I had this and found out where they are stored to delete them but I cannot remember the location (yet another senior moment :wink: ). Can someone please point me to the correct place to look to remove the unwanted items?

I’m not totally sure what you mean, but I assume you mean this file:

~/.config/dolphinrc

No it’s not in there. What I mean is when you right click on a file and select Open With and it lists a number of possible programs to open the file, on my Leap15.5 system it lists loads of entries for several possible programs some of which are the same name. It is possible to remove these unwanted programs but I cannot remember where you have to do it!

File associations maybe???

Settings->Systemsettings->Applications->File Associations

Note assuming KDE

That did it … thanks
