Greetings All
In SUSE 15.2 there appears to be a new ‘feature’ in Dolphin.
I utilize the editable location bar for navigation.
Given two directories with similar names, I will edit the current location for
a quick change to another directory.
This worked great in prior SUSE levels.
However, in v15.2, Dolphin will now ‘tack-on’ to a changed location additional directories
that may be present.
Ex:
Given directories:
…/path1/
…/path2/
…/path2/subdirectory_2/
If in 'path1' and I edit the location bar to path2, dolphin now automatically fills in '/path2/subdirectory_2'
Although I’m sure some software engineer thought this might be helpful, this ‘feature’ is annoying at best,
and has so far has resulted in quite a bit of wasted time.
Is there any way to turn this behavior off?
Thanx.
