Dolphin failed to found files when searching

search file is disabled in system settings
baloo is disabled, and purged.

Hi jcdole,

I’m not sure if it’s the reason, but your dolphin search was in “Content” rather then “Filename”. Try “Filename”, still no result?

I have had this happen on my system.

Is dolphin set to show hidden files?

I also notice that sometimes (I don’t know the exact conditions) dolphin will not find a new file. I close and reopen dolphin and it will then find the file. Most of the time.

Button “Update” may help.
