I found a topic about this, and I tried:

guus@localhost:~>

Will I have to install all the missing ones, one by one?
Also can I ignore the warnings?

I am to late to fix the title.

Can a mod maybe change it to Dolphin as root not working.

Installing kf6-kio-devel may fix it.

I am happy I typed that command.

In the list I saw qemu and libvirt. Although not related to this topic, I do need those too.

Thanks for posting the answer here. I did a reinstall of Tumbleweed a few days ago and hit this problem.

Another way I’ve did for myself, was to do su - and then launch Dolphin from the root bash session. Didn’t have to install anything.

It’s actually better to use

:~> su -l

quote:
“Using su without any options, or su -, can be risky and may cause problems later. For example, it may cause some files in your user home to become owned by root. Instead, you can use su -l, which is an abbreviation for su --login, to obtain root privileges”

The su -, -l, --login works the same way, man:

-, -l, --login
Start the shell as a login shell with an environment similar to a real login:

       • clears all the environment variables except TERM and variables specified by --whitelist-environment

       • initializes the environment variables HOME, SHELL, USER, LOGNAME, and PATH

       • changes to the target user’s home directory

       • sets argv[0] of the shell to '-' in order to make the shell a login shell

The problematic option is the su alone.

This fixed it for me, although it did install a lot of other stuff too.
