Doesen't work autocompletion in Kmail2

Hello,

Doesen’t work autocompletion in Kmail2 from KAddressBook . I use KDE 4.9.2, openSUSE 12.2.
I tried http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=215&t=100742&sid=6478d164668852f73f358628f73a0648&start=15 but doesen’t help.
All checkboxes in SystemSettings are enabled.

Does anyone has the same bug? It will be good to fix it

Autocompletion works fine here.

Well, it is “popular” bug, which doesn’t seem to be fixed… :-/ https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259949

I got it to work by adding the line


 [General]
UseNepomuk=true

to

~/.kde4/share/config/kpimcompletionorder

you will probably need to create the file

then reboot.

Takes a wee while for kmail to start using it - ten to fifteen mins.

edit: above was for kde 4.9.1 on opensuse 12.2
not sure if it is still relevant for 4.9.2 but it still seems to be working OK for me.

I just wanted to let it be know that this worked for me and now my kmail almost works GREAT! If only Akonadi was a little bit faster at loading messages…
