I am having to retype commands to search in Dolphin for files.
I think it occurs in other areas as well.
Does it not have a buffer that stores previous commands ?
Unless folks like typing the same command multiple times.

Not that I’m aware of
Shortest answer: No.
Longest answer: No, at least not yet.
Everytime you search in KDE apps, you’re using the same search mechanism, nepomuk.
Thanks.
I program in 32 bit assembly and have been looking at the Linux programming offerings, especially ones that have a GUI.
Maybe I can study some code and add a buffer functionality to some programs.
C or C++ may also be an option.

In this case you’d have to contact the devs at kde.org . Though SUSE/openSUSE are heavily contributing to KDE development, KDE is a community on it’s own.
