I’m new to SUSE and don’t really like Dolphin.
I use Puppy Linux and think ROX-Filer is better…once you get used to it.
Is it possible to use this file manager under SUSE?
Thanks
Chuck

Any app works better once you get used to it.

I dont see why not, but i didnt see it in the repos, you may have to dig around for a rpm, or the source files.
In the mean time take a look at Krusader
I have used it as a filemanager before.
Now it seems that a desktop has been built around it.
It’s available as:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/dmitry_serpokryl:/Enlightenment-cvs-core-metapackage/openSUSE_11.2/noarch/ROX-Desktop-1.5-2.1.noarch.rpm
I have downloaded and used packages from the /x86_64/ repo (E17 - Enlightenment, aria, etc.).
But you are on your own here with the /noarch/ repo; you seem fearless, anyway.
Bonne chance!
