dockutils in OS11.0

Does anybody know why “dockutils” is no longer part of OS11.0?
Unfortunately, the thinkpad_acpi module, especially
/usr/lib/hotkey-setup/thinkpad_hotkey_handler
still relies on it.
Is there a workaround or better solution?
